Carly Guerra

Carly was three years old when she took her first dance class and has continued dancing ever since. Her background in dancing began with Ballet, Tap, Lyrical and Jazz. She then moved to Ballroom in her late teens. Carly started teaching in 2010, where she took part in many showcases and also competed professionally in Rhythm and Cabaret. She joined the Easidance team in November of 2013 where she continues to share her love of dance. She just recently became certified in the DVIDA Syllabus and is currently working towards her next certification. She is very passionate about her dancing and can’t wait to pass on her knowledge to everyone she meets!
Favorite Dance? Rumba & Samba!
Favorite part about teaching? I have the greatest job in the world! Not many people get to say that their passion is also their job, so being able to dance everyday is one of my favorite things about teaching dance. That being said, meeting all the new people, day in and day out, is also a huge perk of being a dance teacher. However, I mostly love to watch the transformation that happens in my students throughout their dance journey. It warms my heart to be able to see the confidence in their dancing grow and to see their smiling faces on the dance floor.
Hobbies outside the ballroom? If I am not in the ballroom, then you will most likely find me playing outside. I am absolutely obsessed with the beach and being near the water in general. I occasionally lay out in the park on a blanket to write music, poetry, or to just enjoy the weather!

She was blessed to dance with some of the most talented youth dancers and instructors in the California bay area. With partner Jordan Simon she continues reaching for excellence in her own dancing as they train and compete in the Professional American Smooth division.

Anthony Vargas
Instructor

The first time Anthony came into the studio, it was to watch his mother and sister take lessons. They were learning to dance for a wedding. After a couple of lessons watching, Anthony decided to get on the dance floor and learn to dance as well. It didn’t take long for him to get hooked on dancing! Anthony has competed in a few competitions in the Tampa Bay area such as the St. Pete Classic, Florida Superstars, and USDC, to name a few. Anthony developed such a passion for dance that he eventually wanted to begin sharing his knowledge and experience with others. So after about 5 years of dancing, Anthony became a part of the staff here at Easidance.
Favorite Dance? Salsa, Rumba, Tango and Waltz.
Favorite thing about teaching? I absolutely love working with people, and sharing my knowledge of dance with them in order to help them become the best dancers they can be. I am very thankful for the opportunity I’ve been given to work here at Easidance. We have such an amazing group of staff and it’s a pleasure to be able to work with all of the very talented students we have here! Every night when I leave work I have the biggest smile on my face, and that’s because I am able to do what I love to do, and that is teaching people how to dance.
Hobbies outside the ballroom? Whenever I have any free time I enjoy going out to Latin clubs and dancing all night. I also love to spend time with family and friends, whether we’re going camping for a weekend or out for dinner and a movie, we always have a lot of fun!
