Jordan Simon - Manager / Instructor

 

 Jordan started dancing at a young age in Cedar Rapids Iowa at his family’s dance studio.  He Started competing in amature and pro-am competitions around the country at the age of 10. Lived in Minneapolis Minnesota for 6 years before moving to Florida in 2009, started competing professionally and never looked back! Jordan started working for Easidance Ballroom in 2012 and found his dance home! Currently manages, teaches and actively competes professionally in American Smooth with a passion of owning his own studio and becoming a world champion!  Jordan has competed in the AAU Junior Olympics, New York City Dance Festival, Fred Astaire Nationals, Fred Astaire Worlds, Iowa Dancesport Classic, Twin Cities Open, Florida Superstars, Atlanta Open and more!

 

Favorite Dance? Tango and Cha-Cha

 

Favorite thing about teaching? I believe relationships you develop as a teacher are absolutely amazing! You are meeting many different people from all points of life, and having a chance to build into their lives. I enjoy seeing my students every day, or every other day, and getting to know them! It’s a wonderful thing about being a teacher!  I like the journey of growth with my students as they accomplish their goals through dance and competing and doing shows with my students so I can show them off!

Hobbies outside the ballroom?

It’s hard to stay out of the ballroom but when I’m not practicing I enjoy sports, time with friends and family, music, movies, traveling and the Florida sunshine!
